Hot & Wet: When Typography Starts Imagining a Better Climate Future

What if design could help us imagine a better future, before it actually exists?

 

With Earth Month upon us, we’re revisiting our collaboration with Monotype to launch “Hot & Wet”—a project that reframes climate futures through speculative, optimistic storytelling and design.

 

At the center is “Climate Chronicle”: a “newspaper” presenting future headlines as if climate progress has already happened. We believe when people can see that a positive future is possible, they’re more likely to act toward it.

 

Alongside the headlines, we offer sustainable design tips. From typography choices to digital systems, even the smallest design decisions—multiplied at scale—can shape a more sustainable future.
