Rosanna Vitiello is a creative director and strategist with a focus on places, cultures and experience design. Her insight has guided brands, museums, communities, cities and developers worldwide to use narrative-led design to unlock the power of place. Commercially and culturally savvy, she works across disciplines and languages to create forward-thinking strategies and design for destinations and public spaces.
Rosanna has consulted on research, visioning, and training for placemaking clients. She led creative teams at Ralph Applebaum Associates in New York/London, and with Studio Astrid Stavro in Barcelona. Past clients range from brands such as Lavazza, IKEA, Carlsberg, and IBM; to cultural destinations such as the Canadian Museum for Human Rights and London’s Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.
Rosanna holds an MA in Design for Public Space from Elisava, Barcelona, and a BA in Graphic Design from Central St Martins London. Research and education is an ongoing practice, having collaborated with universities such Central St Martins and Universidad de Porto, and developed research project Local Legends.
