Franzi is a senior designer at BMD. Since joining the studio, she has worked on visual identity projects across a variety of brand touchpoints spanning the print, digital, and spatial realms. Franzi’s clients include the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, Pulitzer Arts, Dream, Hutchins Family Foundation, and iMentor New York.
Prior to BMD, Franzi worked in Germany and Switzerland, and was involved in organizing and designing an art and design lecture series in Berlin. Now living in Toronto, she has taught at York University and is currently an instructor at OCAD University in the Faculty of Design.
Franzi earned a BA in Communication Design from the University of Applied Sciences in Berlin, and an MDes in Graphic Design from York University. Her thesis focused on the creative process in design and how to break out of established work modes.
