As a Creative Director in the Toronto studio, Laura provides overall creative and strategic direction for a broad range of projects including brand and identity design, strategic visioning, communication strategies, interactive design, book editorial and graphic design.

Laura’s branding and communications work with Sonos, a leader in the wireless audio space, has led to a design agency of record relationship. Her team is providing design services across a series of brand touch points from packaging to trade show booths to in-store communications.

Laura frequently works in the education and cultural sector, collaborating on messaging and book design for The Pilot School, a visioning project for the School of Architecture & Allied Arts at University of Oregon and a multi-faceted long-term project in support of Arizona State University. This work includes a communications framework, brand identity, launch strategy, website and galvanizing video. Laura’s work on OCAD University’s visual identity rebrand was awarded a Core77 Design Award in the graphics/branding/identity category.

Prior to joining BMD, Laura worked in New York City with publishers HarperCollins among others in that sector.
