Chris Braden

As Creative Director, Chris helps coordinate design teams and fosters communication between account and creative directors. Since joining BMD as an intern in 2008 he has worked on, among other projects, the visual identity system & website for OCAD University, the research and design components of The Third Teacher book, brand books for Skullcandy and DC Shoes, and the donor recognition signage at the Frank Gehry designed Art Gallery of Ontario. 

Prior to his work at BMD, Chris has been an in-house interaction designer, leading interface and user experience development for a cutting-edge 3D software start-up. He holds a BDes with a specialization in Advertising from OCAD University.

Recently, Chris has been awarded for his design in the international design and culture publication Coupe, as part of their design annual. His work has been featured on,, and in the Toronto Star. Chris maintains a connection to the OCAD community as a guest lecturer, critic and an Instructor in the Faculty of Design.
