MY STORY
There once was a baby from Helsinki
Snow blonde and no larger than a pinkie
to make the girl grow
her parents put her on a crow
and flew her to Sweden in a winkie
There once was a girl in Sweden
in a village like a nordic Eden
with horses and farms
and midsummer charms
She turned into a bit of a heathen
There once was a young woman who wanted to dance
So she joined a troupe to take a chance
toured to great cheer
oh unforgettable year
Surprisingly ending in romance
There once was a woman in Vancouver
Who realized design did behoove her
so she moved out west
husband, cats and the rest
In retrospect a brilliant manoeuver
There is a mother in T.O.
With two girls, Calla and Rio
be still my heart
they tear me apart
Knowing one day they’ll go
There’s a designer at Bruce Mau Design
thinks working anywhere else is a crime
typography and innovation
laughs and inspiration
This my dear friends, is the last line.
